The 100mm Knauf Acoustic Roll Earthwool Insulation (APR) is a high-density sound-deadening insulation designed to reduce noise transmission in internal walls, floors, and timber and metal stud partitions. Made from glass mineral wool, this insulation roll is the thickest sound-deadening roll available in the Knauf Acoustic insulation range.
Specifically designed to be friction-fit between joists and studs at 600mm centres, the 100mm Knauf Acoustic Roll Earthwool Insulation (APR) is made from glass mineral wool. It contains numerous minuscule air pockets that trap sound as it passes through, muffling the noise and reducing noise transmission. These rolls are highly effective in providing a sound absorbent layer within internal floors and walls. Additionally, the 1200mm width rolls feature perforations at 600mm intervals, making them easy to install between plasterboard partitions and floor joists.
