The 75mm Knauf Acoustic Roll Earthwool Insulation (APR) is a high-performance insulation solution designed to reduce noise transmission in internal walls, floors, and timber and metal stud partitions. Made from glass mineral wool and featuring Knauf Insulation's unique bio-based binder, ECOSE® Technology, this insulation provides enhanced acoustic performance and excellent noise reduction properties for both new and refurbished applications.
It is a soft and easy-to-handle insulation solution, specifically designed to be friction-fit between joists and studs at 600mm centres. The rolls have a width of 1200mm and are manufactured to a minimum density of 10Kg/m3. They feature perforations to create 2 x 600mm rolls, saving time and ensuring precise cuts. The rolls are designed to fit between studs, closing joints and reducing the potential for gaps, thus ensuring high levels of sound insulation. They also have an impressive fire rating of A1 non-combustible.
