SB Panel Premier 48 is a type of acoustic floorboard that is designed to increase floor height in both refurbishment and new build projects. It features a combination of a resilient layer called SB slab30™ on the underside and a high density upper layer, which provides excellent acoustic qualities. The resilient layer also helps to compensate for minor unevenness in the floor surface.
This high density P5 moisture resistant floorboard is perfect for increasing floor height while upgrading floors. It is designed to provide impact sound insulation between separating floors. The floorboard consists of 18mm High Density P5 Moisture Resistant TG4 chipboard panels and a 30mm acoustic resilient layer called SB slab30™, which is factory bonded to the underside of the panels.
"Please note: Due to this product being FSC regulated, we are unable to accept returns. Kindly ensure your order is accurate before placing."

Installation
To install the SB Panel Premier 48, follow these steps:
- Lay the SB Panel 48 Floating Flooring in a conventional broken bond pattern.
- Use SB-Bond Panel Adhesive to glue all teegee joints.
- Leave a 10-15mm expansion gap around all perimeters and install SB-Seal 20 Perimeter Seal to ensure that the floor floats freely from the walls and maintains acoustic isolation.
- If there are door thresholds, access hatches, or areas without a teegee joint, you can use SB-Grommet Fixing Isolators sparingly to prevent any "lipping" issues. Do not use any other fixings when installing the floating floor, as they can negatively affect its performance. Skirting should be installed with a minimum clearance of two or three millimeters from the floor surface (PCT only).
