- Glue all tongue and groove joints using SB-Bond Panel Adhesive.
- Leave a 10-15mm expansion gap around all perimeters and use SB-Seal 20 Perimeter Seal to ensure the floor floats freely from the walls, maintaining acoustic isolation or perimeter detail as per Robust Detail instructions using SB-RD Flanking Strip.
- At door thresholds, access hatches, or in the absence of a tongue and groove joint, use SB-Grommet Fixing Isolators sparingly to eliminate "lipping". Do not use any other fixings that may restrict the floating floor's performance. Fit skirting two or three millimeters clear of the floor surface (PCT only).
