The SB 5 kg/m² Barrier Mat Rubber Underlay is a vinyl sound barrier mat that contains naturally occurring minerals. It is designed to improve the sound insulation of existing panels made of metal, wood, plastic, etc., at all frequencies. The mat is typically fixed in close contact with the original panel. SB barriers are especially effective in reducing coincidence dip resonance in stiff lightweight composites like plywood sheets and hollow core panels.
