The 25mm Celotex TB4025 PIR Insulation Board is a high-performance thermal insulation solution designed to combat thermal bridging in floor, wall, and roof applications. It features composite foil facings and has a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/m.K, providing maximum thermal efficiency. This BBA-certified insulation board is 2400mm x 1200mm in size and is suitable for various construction types.
It is a fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with aluminium foil composite facings on both sides. The PIR core is manufactured using blowing agents with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP), making it an environmentally friendly option. The low emissivity foil facings improve thermal conductivity in sealed cavity air spaces.

Features and Benefits
- High-performance thermal insulation: Provides excellent thermal insulation properties, helping to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency.
- Composite foil facings for improved thermal conductivity: The foil facings enhance the insulation's ability to reflect heat, improving its overall thermal conductivity.
- Effectively eliminates thermal bridging: Minimizes the transfer of heat through structural elements, preventing thermal bridging and maintaining a consistent temperature within the building.
- Environmentally friendly with zero ODP and low GWP: The insulation board has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a low global warming potential (GWP), making it a sustainable choice for environmentally conscious projects.
- Easy to handle and install: The lightweight and rigid nature of the insulation board makes it easy to handle and install, saving time and effort during the construction process.
- BBA-certified: The insulation board is certified by the British Board of Agrément (BBA), ensuring its quality, durability, and compliance with building regulations.
- Achieves a BRE Green Guide Rating of A: The insulation board has been rated A by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) Green Guide, indicating its high environmental performance and contribution to sustainable construction.
- Excellent fire performance: The insulation board has excellent fire resistance properties, providing added safety and protection in case of fire.
- Reduces condensation risk: The insulation board helps to minimize condensation by maintaining a consistent temperature and preventing moisture buildup within the building envelope.
- Durable and long-lasting: The insulation board is designed to withstand the rigors of construction and provide long-lasting thermal insulation performance, ensuring the building's energy efficiency for years to come.
Applications
- Roof Insulation: The Celotex TB4025 PIR Insulation Board is commonly used for insulating roofs. It helps in reducing heat loss, thus maintaining a comfortable temperature inside the building.
- Floor Insulation: This product is also used for insulating floors. It provides a thermal barrier between the ground and the building, preventing cold air from seeping in.
- Wall Insulation: The Celotex TB4025 PIR Insulation Board can be used for insulating walls. It helps in maintaining the internal temperature of the building, reducing the need for heating or cooling.
- Loft Insulation: This insulation board is ideal for insulating lofts. It helps in preventing heat loss through the roof, making the loft space more usable.
- Cavity Wall Insulation: The Celotex TB4025 PIR Insulation Board can be used for insulating cavity walls. It helps in reducing heat loss through the walls, improving the energy efficiency of the building.
- Underfloor Heating: This product can be used in conjunction with underfloor heating systems. It helps in evenly distributing the heat, enhancing the efficiency of the heating system.
Installation
The 25mm Celotex TB4025 PIR Insulation Board is easy to install. It can be cut to size using a fine-toothed saw or insulation knife. The boards should be tightly butted together and fixed in place using appropriate fixings. It is recommended to follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines for best results.
